Ajay Kumar Jha — Founder, Director & CEO
Ajay Kumar Jha is a seasoned energy and infrastructure leader with 25+ years of experience spanning oil and gas, infrastructure development and complex project execution across India and international markets, including the UK and the Netherlands.
An alumnus of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, with leadership development training from IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Jha brings deep expertise in geoscience, project development, financial analysis, systems thinking and project governance.
At AirMobility Infra Private Limited (AMIPL), he is driving the vision of building a technology-led sustainable infrastructure company, integrating geothermal intelligence, renewable energy, aerial mobility and engineering innovation. Under his leadership, AMIPL is advancing GeothAI™, its geospatial intelligence platform for geothermal opportunity screening and decision support, alongside direct-use geothermal solutions and sustainable infrastructure development.

Kanishk Tiwari
Manager – Ropeway Design & FEA
Kanishk Tiwari leads ropeway design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) at AirMobility Infra Private Limited (AMIPL), bringing expertise in mechanical design, structural analysis and product development. He is pursuing an M.Tech. (Research) in Mechanical Design at IIT Mandi and holds a B.Tech. in Production and Industrial Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University.
His professional experience includes engineering design, product development, 3D modelling, design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA), and structural simulation using ANSYS Workbench and MATLAB. Prior to joining AMIPL, he served as a Senior Design Engineer at Genus Power Infrastructures Limited, Jaipur.
Kanishk has also co-authored a research paper on the design and structural analysis of an aerial cable transport cabin, published in the International Journal of Engineering Research in Mechanical and Civil Engineering in March 2026. His research applies FEA to assess critical cabin components under operational and environmental loading conditions.
At AMIPL, he contributes to ropeway system design, structural verification, FEA modelling and engineering innovation, supporting the development of safe, efficient and sustainable aerial mobility infrastructure. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
S.D. Jayachandra
— Partner, Project Management & Business Development
35+ years of expertise across power, large infrastructure, and accelerating transition to renewable energy projects, specializing in project lifecycle management and energy transition, advancing decarbonization and future-ready energy strategies.
Widespread experience in full project lifecycle, from feasibility and engineering to commissioning, asset optimization, and long-term operational performance of complex power, and large-scale infrastructure assets across India, the Middle East, and South-East Asia.
His expertise includes developing and implementing Integrated Management Systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ASME standards, and local WHS regulations. He strengthens organisational compliance, operational efficiency, and safety performance while supporting end-to-end project delivery.
He has developed Project Management Plans, renewable-energy implementation frameworks, risk assessments, supply-chain systems, training programs, and HSEQ Site Management Plans, ensuring safe operations and a strong zero-harm culture on high-risk sites. His capabilities span mechanical installation oversight, manpower planning, cost and schedule control, site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Jean-Francois HIRT

A graduate of EM Lyon Business School (1995), this professional brings over 30 years of extensive international experience spanning Asia, Europe, the USA, and Africa. Early in his career, he spent a decade in Japan, where he specialized in leading sales and market development. His work during this period focused on key areas, including construction equipment and advanced energy-efficient building technologies, notably with the French manufacturer AERECO.
He possesses significant expertise in the African market, having spent over 15 years in countries like Congo, Kenya, and Uganda. During this time, his focus was on building crucial strategic partnerships on behalf of Asian investors, particularly within the vital mining and infrastructure sectors. His proficiency lies in navigating the complexities of cross-cultural project development and effective investor engagement.
His core strengths revolve around the ability to seamlessly align global technologies and best practices with the specific, evolving needs of emerging markets. This expertise is critical for successful international project development and execution. He excels at managing diverse teams and ensuring project goals are met while respecting local regulatory and cultural frameworks.

With over 35 years of multidisciplinary experience, this professional has established a robust track record in leading complex transport infrastructure, including ropeways, rail connectivity, highways, tunnels, and complex terrain engineering. His background covers national corridor development, spanning from conceptual DPR planning to EPC execution and large-scale logistics coordination for Government, PSUs, and private majors.
His expertise combines structural design with crucial on-ground execution capability, often demonstrated in demanding geographic conditions. He has successfully delivered multiple high-value projects, including expressways, complex tunnel packages, strategic road networks, ropeway feasibility assignments, and major rail connectivity programs, alongside significant experience in defence engineering.
At Airmobility Infra, he strengthens the firm’s technical vision and project delivery architecture for emerging ropeway and aerial mobility projects. His proficiency in alignment design, DPR development, stakeholder coordination, authority approvals, and EPC integration ensures projects achieve faster readiness and superior implementation quality through risk-managed execution.
A significant strength is his proven track record of successful collaboration with central and state agencies, including BRO, Indian Railways, and MSRDC, and leading EPC firms.
